Dr. Stephanos Eliades MD FRACGP

Dr. Eliades graduated from Semmelweis University of Medicine in Budapest, Hungary, in 2001. He initially worked at the BoC Oncology Centre in Nicosia before moving to the United Kingdom, where he trained and gained experience across several specialties, including General Medicine, Haematology, Geriatric Medicine, and Emergency Medicine.

In 2008, Dr. Eliades relocated to Sydney, Australia, where he trained extensively in both Adult and Paediatric Emergency Medicine at one of Sydney’s major trauma centres on the North Shore. He subsequently entered General Practice training and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).

From 2020 until his return to Cyprus in 2025, Dr. Eliades practiced as a full-time General Practitioner in Sydney, while also holding senior roles with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners as Registrar Liaison Officer and Medical Educator.

Dr. Eliades has extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of a broad range of conditions in both acute and primary care settings. His areas of special interest include preventive health, men’s health, women’s health, and the diagnosis and treatment of minor and sports-related injuries.

Ο Δρ Στέφανος Ηλιάδης γεννήθηκε στη Λευκωσία. Aποφοίτησε από την Αγγλική Σχολή Λευκωσίας το 1993. Σπούδασε Ιατρική στο Πανεπιστήμιο Semmelweis της Βουδαπέστης, Ουγγαρία. Μετά από 2 χρόνια εργασίας στο ΓΝΛ και στο Ογκολογικό Κέντρο Τράπεζας Κύπρου, εγκαταστάθηκε στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο, όπου έζησε και εργάστηκε μέχρι το 2008 σε διάφορες ειδικότητες, όπως Γενική Ιατρική Ενηλίκων, Αιματολογία, Φροντίδα Ηλικιωμένων Γαστρεντερολογία, και Τμήμα Επειγόντων Περιστατικών.

Τον Ιούλιο του 2008, ο Δρ Ηλιάδης μετακόμισε στην Αυστραλία, όπου εκπαιδεύτηκε στην Επειγοντολογία Ενηλίκων και Παιδιών σε ένα από τα μεγαλύτερα κέντρα τραυματιών του Σίδνεϊ στο North Shore και εργάστηκε σε διάφορα δημόσια και ιδιωτικά Τμήματα Επειγόντων Περιστατικών της πολιτείας. Στη συνέχεια εκπαιδεύτηκε στη Γενική Ιατρική και απέκτησε τον τίτλο Fellowship του Βασιλικού Κολλεγίου Γενικών Ιατρών της Αυστραλίας (RACGP).

Από το 2020, ο Δρ Ηλιάδης εργάζεται ως πλήρους απασχόλησης Γενικός Ιατρός στο Σίδνεϊ. Επιπλέον, κατείχε θέση Διδάκτωρ (Ιατρού Εκπαιδευτή) στο RACGP έως την αναχώρησή του από την Αυστραλία το 2025.
